This survey is to measure quality and satisfaction of the pediatric radiology service in the on-call hours. Participation is voluntary and anonymized.
It appears that many European hospitals require expert pediatric radiology services out of hours (i.e. during “on-call” hours). However low numbers of pediatric radiologists to fulfill this in a timely and reliable way may result in tension between requesting clinicians and radiologists.
This study aims to bring any issues to light, both objectively and subjectively, as well as to propose potential solutions. The study is based on a survey of pediatric radiologists, pediatricians and pediatric surgeons, both in university and general hospitals in Europe.
